Band Bio -

In 1999, four well-known and respected musicians collaborated to form what is often called ". . .the coolest band in town who can put on the groove!"

Originating from Rehoboth, DE, and Ocean City, MD, Elwood Bishop (bass), Joe "Smooth" Jacinto (alto & tenor sax), Howard Wimbrow (guitar), and "Baby Brother" Keith Brooks (drums), have achieved the ultimate blend of instrumentals and vocals.

Playing combinations of jazz, blues, funk, and soul, No Byscuyts cover artists from Grover Washington, Jr. to the Rolling Stones.  The arrangements of their covers are unique to No Byscuyts, just as the essence of their originals is a dynamic as those whom they cover.

With their distinct style, these new millennium artists ignited a spark on the beaches that quickly turned into a fire.  From the hot summer afternoons at the resorts' best outdoor venues, to cool nights at the most popular clubs along the shore, No Byscuyts radiates the energy of its artists' love of music to both new and familiar audiences.

One entertainment critic describes the band in one sentences:  "No Byscuyts has achieved the ultimate blend of music in a perfect, fluid, funky package!"  Such lavish praise is a well-deserved endorsement from their fans and fellow musicians alike.
